The American Conservatives is reporting that WME Entertainment is considering purchasing backyards indoor entertainment center.
WME is already a major investor in the entertainment industry, with a portfolio of companies that includes Viacom and Disney.
The company is also in talks with the state of Michigan to develop a plan to acquire backyards facilities that could include backyards venues, movie theaters, concert halls, and outdoor movie and entertainment experiences.
The American Conservatory of Music and the American Conservatories of Natural Sciences both have holdings in backyards properties.
Wme is also looking to develop backyards for its new mobile apps, which would include concerts, films, and other content.
The move would mark the second time in as many months that Wme has been linked to backyards, as it purchased the WME Interactive Entertainment and Media company in August.
In January, WME also announced it would buy an additional five backyards in Detroit and in Detroit’s Grand Crossing neighborhood.
A spokesperson for WME did not respond to a request for comment.
